Bill & Carol's 'Head South' Tour: Family in Chesapeak Virginia

We spent a wonderful time with Faye, Jennifer and Goofy Gabe in Norfolk! We walked on and about the Battleship USS Wisconsin which is one of the largest and last battleships ever built by the U.S. Navy. Very impressive to most of us but Gabe kept asking everyone we ran into "Excuse me. Can you tell me where we can pull levers and push buttons"? We did just that going through the rest of the Nauticus Museum.

Gabe figured Bill's name should be Indiana Jones because of his hat so called him Indy for the past two days. When HE put on Bill's hat he said he was Clark Kent. Gabe's favorite thing in life is Super Heros - any of them - so when we all went out for dinner at the Texas Roadhouse, Gabe was thrilled that it happened to be Super Hero Night. He asked the balloon guy to make him a Green Hulk hat!

Later in the evening we joined Jackie, Shawn and Josh for pizza and drinks at Jen's house. Ever try Peanut Butter Vodka? They wash it down with Grape Juice! It was nice to be with my sister Faye and her family again and Gabe was sooooo much fun.
