It's been very hard trying to keep up on this blog. I've just bout given up on it but will try a few more additions!
On Wednesday, March 20th, we joined up with friends from Marquette. Sue & Joe Cherrette, Bobbie & Pat Cleary, and Anne & Tony Erspamer.
Tony's sister, Ann and husband Dave, live in Orlando and we all went to their house for a bar-b-q. Great people! Not only were they gracious hosts, Dave got us passes to the Arnold Palmer Golf Invitational! Dave works as a golf pro at the Bay Hills Golf Club so I went with the boys (the other girls weren't interested) on Thursday to our first pro tournament.
It was exciting to see all our favorite golfers in person. After parking at Dave's bosses house on the course, we walked up to the first green we came to and here comes Phil Mickelson and Bubba Watson! What fun!!
Yes, we even saw Tiger Woods; we actually stood about ten feet away from most of the players. We saw Jason Dufner do his 'waggle' before driving his ball; Bubba use his pink driver and hit the ball over the water and about 100 yards farther than anyone, Rickie Fowler wearing lime green, and on one hole, Ben Crane even asked Bill if he had seen his ball. So I guess I can say Bill personally took part in this tournament! :-)
