Too much fun for one day so we went for two days! The shows are spectacular and it is amazing to see what the trainers have done with all the animals.
The Shamu show is awesome but we noticed that the trainers no longer get in the water with the whales at all since the girl trainer was killed by one of killer whales a few years ago. They still do a wonderful job working from the stages but if you have ever seen the show before, a lot of the excitement of the trainers riding on their backs or shooting out of the water on the tip of their snouts, is missing.
The aquariums throughout the park are so clear and beautifully built it was hard for me at times to get Bill to move along. We were fortunate at times to hang back and be the only two viewing sharks, stingrays or other sea life.
We also saw the sea lion show included a walrus, dolphin and exotic birds, and a great show with dogs, cats, rat, pigs, ducks, birds and others. All the animals in the last show were from humane societies and rescue centers. I think we enjoyed this show the most.
I wanted to go on the roller coasters VERY MUCH but did not want to screw up my back for the rest of our trip so declined the thrill rides.
